Dr. Li is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® who received his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2011 and Master of Sport Health Science (MS) in Sports Injury Management in 2012, from the United States. Since then, he has dedicated his career to the field of sports injury, providing exceptional care to local sports communities in several countries worldwide. Dr. Li's expertise lies in the treatment of extremity-related sports injuries such as those affecting the shoulders, knees, ankles, and feet, as well as patient pre/post-surgical rehabilitation. His collaboration with physicians and physical therapists ensures the development of the most effective recovery plans for his patients. Dr. Li's commitment to excellence in sports medicine is reflected in his completion of the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine in 2017, which places him among a global network of physicians with a shared passion for providing the highest quality care for soccer players and promoting safe and enjoyable sports environments. Alongside his professional pursuits, Dr. Li has also participated in national and local triathlons, demonstrating his personal dedication to the athletic community.
Dr. Jinjiang Li has successfully completed the requirements to be certified as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP®) in 2022. The DACBSP® certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 300 hours of postgraduate education. This instruction is specific to evaluating physical fitness and the assessment and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination. The doctor must also successfully complete a practical (hands-on) examination. In addition, the doctor must have a sports-related paper published in a peer-reviewed journal and a minimum of 100 hours providing hands-on treatment to athletes outside of the clinical setting.
This training will aid Dr. Li in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The DACBSP accreditation exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a high level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine. Dr. Li joins 300 others nationally who hold this designation.
Dr. Li has been providing care for athletes and sports teams worldwide since 2019. With the International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic from the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS), Dr. Li has undergone specialized training to provide expert care for athletes at all levels.
